Business Development Representative


About the role

As a Business Development Representative, you spearhead our marketing efforts, shaping and executing strategies that promote our brand, engage our audience, and drive growth. Your creativity, analytical thinking, and leadership skills are keys to enhancing our market presence and achieving our business goals. You work directly with Lead Sourcing Specialists (LSS) to take the leads generated and actively engage with them to qualify and nurture these leads further.

What you do

  • Lead Scoring: Implement a lead scoring system to prioritize leads based on their potential and readiness for conversion, ensuring that the sales team focuses on the most promising opportunities.
  • Strategic Marketing Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with our business objectives, industry trends, and customer needs.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage the marketing team, fostering a collaborative environment, and ensuring alignment with the company’s vision and goals.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Analyze marketing metrics, prepare reports, and derive insights to optimize future marketing efforts.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Collaboration with Sales and Other Departments: Collaborate with sales and other departments to ensure cohesive branding and customer engagement.
  • Staying Up-to-Date: Continuously monitor and analyze industry trends and competitors to keep our marketing efforts ahead of the curve.
  • Lead Nurturing: Implement lead nurturing campaigns to engage and educate potential customers over time, increasing the likelihood of conversion.
  • Competitive Intelligence: Monitor competitors’ activities and provide insights into their strategies and tactics in the market.

What you need to succeed

  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the creative or digital agency space.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with marketing software, tools, and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, etc.).
  • Creative Flair: Ability to think creatively and innovate.
  • Adaptability: Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities and market trends.
