About the role

As a Sr. Graphic & Brand Designer, you oversee and manage our design projects from conception to execution. You create engaging and on-brand graphics for a variety of media. Your graphics should capture the attention of those who see them and communicate the right message. You have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design. You review the work of your team and ensure that outcomes are on time, on-brand, and incorporating current design trends.

What you do

Design Leadership:

  • Lead the design strategy and direction for complex design projects, guiding the creative process from concept to execution.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketers, project managers, and other designers, to ensure design solutions align with business goals.

 

Creative Conceptualization:

  • Generate creative concepts and ideas, translating them into visually impactful designs that effectively communicate clients’ brand messages.
  • Oversee the creation of stylescapes, mood boards, and design concepts that shape the visual aspects of websites, branding materials, and more.

 

Branding Excellence:

  • Develop comprehensive Branding/Style Guides that establish consistent design elements, including fonts, colors, and logos, ensuring alignment with brand identities.
  • Review and refine branding materials to maintain visual consistency across various touchpoints.

 

Design Execution:

  • Create visually compelling graphics and layouts for diverse media, including product illustrations, company logos, websites, and other design projects.
  • Utilize design software such as Photoshop, Figma, etc., to deliver exceptional design outcomes that align with client expectations.

 

User-Centered Design:

  • Ensure designs adhere to user-centered design principles, effectively addressing the needs and preferences of target audiences.
  • Create designs that are intuitive, accessible, and user-friendly across different platforms.

 

Project Management and Collaboration:

  • Collaborate closely with project managers and other design collaborators to communicate design concepts and strategies.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that design solutions are on time, on-brand, and incorporating current design trends.

 

Mentorship and Guidance:

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers, fostering their growth and development.
  • Lead design reviews and offer constructive feedback to enhance the skills and creativity of team members.

 

Quality Assurance:

  • Review final layouts and design assets to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and alignment with project goals.
  • Suggest improvements and refinements to enhance the visual impact of design solutions.

What you need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field
  • 5yrs+ experience in graphic and brand design work, or similar
  • Proven expertise demonstrated in an impactful design portfolio
  • Exceptional leadership skills to guide and inspire a design team
  • Profound understanding of design principles, typography, layout, and color theory
  • Determination and adaptability to tackle complex design challenges
  • Commitment to continuous learning and knowledge sharing
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar
  • Outstanding communication skills for effective articulation of design concepts
  • Expertise in brand identity development and design strategy
  • Collaborative mindset to excel in multidisciplinary teams
  • Analytical acumen coupled with a keen business sense
