UX UI Designer


About the role

As a UX UI Designer, you deliver exceptional design for websites, web apps, and mobile apps. You balance user needs with business requirements to create leading digital products and services. You are experienced in best practices while understanding when you can break the mold to ideate on groundbreaking experiences. You work with the team to create experience concepts, journey maps, user stories, product roadmaps, and/or an initial set of product features, helping to pave the way for your team. You have a great eye for design and can create visually stunning designs that are modern, engaging, and, most of all, designed for the target audience.

What you do

Design and Creativity:

  • Collaborate with senior designers to contribute to design strategy and direction for projects.
  • Participate in user research efforts, gathering insights and assisting in synthesizing findings for design decisions.
  • Assist in creating user personas, user journeys, and interactive prototypes that support intuitive and engaging experiences.
  • Contribute to the development of design systems and guidelines, ensuring consistency and brand alignment.
  • Understand product specifications, user needs, and business requirements to inform design solutions.


Interface Design:

  • Assist in the creation of visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that align with client branding and objectives.
  • Create stylescapes, mood boards, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts effectively.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to iterate and refine designs based on user insights.
  • Evaluate UI elements for intuitiveness and ease of understanding, ensuring seamless user experiences.
  • Apply usability best practices to ensure intuitive navigation and user interactions.


Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with strategists, project managers, and designers to understand project goals and user requirements.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure the smooth transition from design to implementation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs align with project goals and user requirements.


Project Support:

  • Assist in project management tasks, coordinating resources, and ensuring project goals are met.
  • Work within project timelines and milestones, balancing creativity with practicality to meet client expectations and deadlines.


Presentation and Communication:

  • Present design ideas and concepts to the team or clients, effectively communicating design rationale and solutions.
  • Collaborate with senior designers and project managers to present design strategies to stakeholders and clients.


Professional Growth:

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design best practices, and emerging technologies to bring cutting-edge solutions to projects.
  • Continuously invest in your learning journey and share knowledge to inspire others around you.

What you need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
  • At least 2yrs of experience in UI and UX Design: previous roles as a UX UI designer, interaction designer, or similar positions
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of UX UI design projects, demonstrating a deep understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory
  • Experience with responsive and mobile-first design approaches
  • Analytical mind with a business acumen
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to iterate on designs based on feedback
  • Excellent English communication skills
