FlyBuds is a Cannabis delivery service that allows customers to order marijuana products, and have them delivered straight to their doorstep on the same day.

The Challenge

We were tasked to create a more engaging and branded user experience that separates FlyBuds from their competition in the southern California area. Aside from that, we also needed to establish the brand as a trusted source through the shopping experience.

Our Strategy

We designed a way to group different products together, to be able to cleverly communicate the different sensorial properties, without them having to smell or hold the product itself.

We created an intuitive shopping experience, incorporating an ID validation to ensure that we follow the necessary protocols in selling cannabis products.

Ready to roll

We created a catchy logo and tagline that communicated the website’s ease of use and benefit of the product. We studied what resonated best with the target audience  and crafted a clean and premier brand design.

Digital word of mouth

We looked at the barriers for a new user when it comes to shopping for marijuana products, and provided social proof by having existing users talk about their own experience.

Four expert blends

By using color, imagery, fonts and naming, we created four distinct product blends that target a specific type of user.

Simply verified

New users are verified within the checkout flow, by simply providing their ID, to ensure that we follow the necessary protocols, while keeping it convenient for the user.
