As a Sr. UI UX Designer, you have experience working on multiple projects in an agency environment. You lead the design phase of assigned projects, like websites, app and product design and branding, and collaborate with cross-functional teams within the organization. You work closely with our strategists from the wireframe phase until the design handoff and ensure pixel-perfect results during development. You have a deep understanding of the team’s design needs and help the team strategize to effectively deliver exceptional design for websites, web apps, and mobile apps. You use your UI and UX design expertise to ensure we meet and exceed client’s expectations.

What you do

Design and Creativity:

Lead design strategy and direction for projects and creates innovative solutions
Conduct in-depth user research, gather insights, and synthesize findings to inform design decisions.
Conceptualize and create stylescapes, sitemaps, high-level wireframes, prototypes, and mockups that illustrate user interactions and flows.
Drive design systems and guidelines initiatives, ensuring consistency across projects and brand alignment.
Apply usability best practices to design interfaces that are intuitive and easy to navigate.
Ensure designs adhere to accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) to create inclusive digital experiences.
Create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that align with brand guidelines and enhance user engagement.
Develop user personas, user journeys, and interactive prototypes that guide the development of intuitive and engaging experiences.
Create engaging visual designs that align with brand identity and elevate the overall aesthetic.
Utilize typography, color, and imagery to create compelling and cohesive design visuals.
Develop detailed design documentation, including user flows, wireframes, and design specifications, to guide development teams.

Collaboration and Communication:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including strategists, producers/project managers, and designers to understand project goals and user requirements.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure a seamless transition from design to implementation.
Collaborates with Project managers and producers on communicating design rationale to stakeholders and clients, leading design discussions
Present design concepts and strategies to team and/or clients, showcasing the value of design solutions and gaining buy-in.

Project Ownership & Leadership:

Lead design projects from concept to execution, owning the design process and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, fostering their growth and skill development.

Mentorship and Team Development:

Mentor and guide junior designers, providing constructive feedback and fostering their growth and development.

Problem Solving:

Solve complex design problems, consider multiple perspectives, and innovate solutions.
Identify design challenges and find creative solutions that address user needs and business goals.

Technology and Tools:

Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and design methodologies to bring innovation to projects.
Demonstrates mastery of design software, explores new tools, and advocates for adopting emerging technologies.
Drives innovation by predicting industry trends and incorporating them into design solutions.

Time and Project Management:

Oversees project timelines, coordinates resources, and ensures project goals are met.

What you need to succeed

Bachelor’s degree in Design, Visual Arts, or a related field
5+years of extensive experience in UI and UX Design: previous roles as a UX UI designer, interaction designer, or similar positions
Proficiency with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, InVision, or similar software used in UX and UI design
The ability to grasp complex product features and translate them into comprehensive design specifications is unparalleled, setting the stage for innovative solutions.
