As a Project Manager at 500 Designs, you play a crucial role in planning, coordinating, and implementing projects across various teams. You ensure projects are delivered efficiently, fostering important relationships with employees, clients, and contacts while serving as a dependable liaison and leader. You effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, and project team members based in California and beyond.

What you do

Project Delivery:

  • Deliver projects on time and within budget while meeting or exceeding client expectations.
  • Identify and capitalize on upsell opportunities to enhance client relationships and project outcomes.

 

Team Management:

  • Manage and define project scopes, workload, and team capacity.
  • Motivate and encourage teamwork within a supportive environment. Schedule and lead meetings to ensure progress and alignment.
  • Share findings with the management team to improve efficiency and maintain trust within the team.

 

Client Engagement:

  • Lead and assemble the right team for each project, managing client communications and project schedules.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by upholding work quality, and explore further upsell opportunities.

 

Project Planning and Coordination:

  • Lead planning sessions to define project goals, timelines, tasks, and necessary resources.
  • Utilize ClickUp for effective project coordination and management, ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
  • Work with key stakeholders to ensure resource availability and allocation.

 

Process Optimization and Development:

  • Continuously develop leadership skills and optimize processes.
  • Identify growth opportunities and initiate new projects as agreed by the leadership team.
  • Develop tools such as spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to enhance project management practices.

What you need to succeed

  • 4-5+ years of project management experience.
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced startup environment, preferably in a design agency
  • Strong ability to find innovative ways to drive growth and address challenges
  • Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple projects and priorities effectively
  • Effective communication skills to manage relationships with clients, team members, and stakeholders
  • Capability to lead project planning sessions, motivating teams, and optimizing processes
  • Familiarity with UX/UI principles to effectively communicate with clients and team members involved in digital design projects
  • Proficiency in using project management software and tools such as ClickUp, Trello, and Google Suite Applications
  • Ability to work independently and drive projects to completion
  • Skills to foster a supportive and collaborative environment within the team
